This site is dedicated to all seekers of faith and to the quest for spiritual transformation. St. Edward the Confessor Parish in Dana Point, California, a Roman Catholic faith community, bids welcome to anyone who seeks a deeper connection with God and who desires a more meaningful life.
St. Edward the Confessor Church is located in the beautiful coastal city of Dana Point, California. We are perched on a bluff overlooking the Pacifric Ocean and have a panaramic view of God's creation from our floor to ceiling windows. The ocean has always been a source of contemplation for seekers and many have talked about being drawn into the resplendent beauty of God by simply gazing at the waves. But there is so much more to learn about God and our faith! While creation draws us into the mystery, our intellect, emotional make-up, personality and relationships with others also have much to teach us.
My name is Donna Erickson Couch. I am the Director of Faith Formaiton at St. Edward the Confessor parish and am ceritified in the Art of Spiritual Direction. I have a special place in my heart for people who seek the Transcendent but don't quite know where to go, who to talk to, or where to make a connection. I identify with those of you who might feel a little cautious about allowing God to enter more fully into your life.
How much will I have to change?
Will God come between me and my loved ones who may not understand?
I have had those questions too. Walking alone on the journey can be quite intimidating. Walking with someone can make all the difference. If God is knocking on the door of your heart, my hope is that you will allow us to help you open that entry into the great and mysterious path of fnding the Source of your quest.
We invite you to explore the various aspects of the journey by clicking on our pages. If you are a spiritual seeker, cautious about institutional religion but curious, go to the Seekerspage.
